-The main character of the anime. Setsuna Muto is the reincaration of the Organic Angel Alexiel. He is a half japanese/ half british high school freshmen who never gets hurt in an accident and he is a side kick to the seinor Kira, a tough guy who likes to tick off his father. Setsuna also has a major secret, he loves His youger sister Sarah.   

-Setsuna's younger sister who was separated from him by their mother. She loves Setsua as much as he loves her but is afraid to show it. When her feelings are finally revealed her mother tries to force her to move away to England. Sarah is the only person who can prevent Setsuna from killing people.

-Katon is the angel who brought Roseal back from his imprisonment. He wants Roseal to return to heaven and in trying to get Roseal to revolt against God he fights with Setsuna. However, during the battle Katon kills Sarah. Leaving Setsuna shattered.

-Setsuna's best friend. He is also the seven bladed sword of the holy spirit. He made a pact with a dieing human. This pact is what makes  him hate his father. He helps Setsuna however he can.

-The fourteeth child of Gehena, her life was saved by Alexiel when the Angels invaded Hell. She wants to be with Alexiel so they can get revenge for Hell's distruction. Her life is also saved by Setsuna when she alost gets hit by a car.

-The inorganic angel and twin brother of Alexiel. He is Heaven's last hope for salvation but in his quest to awaken his long dead twin sister he remains on earth. He is insanely obsessed with Alexiel and wishes to kill Sarah so he can have Alexiel all to himself. Roseal is one of the many villians in the anime and his isanity leads to his death.

-Organic angel Alexiel, the savor of Kurai and the leader of the rebel side of the cosmic war. She decalared a revolt agaist God and wishes to kill her twin brother Roseal. Her body was sealed iside a crystal and her soul was left o earth where she became Setsuna.
